This spring break is full of lose schedules, visiting with friends & family, and small wonders.
I spent one whole morning whipping up four of JC Handmade's Kidlet Totesfor a few of the vacant door knobs in our house. True to the pattern's claim, they are quick, fun, and turn out a wonderful little bag to hold treasures ever so snuggly.
As I moved from room to room to hang the bags and pick up a bit, I spotted the leftover words from my children's window writing project. Remembering the wistful question earlier in the day, "Can we get out the window markers?" I marveled at their words.
Sometimes I believe my children are still so young, so naive, yet I'll come upon words like these that remind me of their growing depth of thought and contemplation at the world that awaits them in adulthood. A wonder, indeed...
