My life was a whirlwind of activity this past week. When I felt I could settle down to write here, another gust of needs whisked me off again... Thankfully, most of it was good, if not bittersweet.
My children finish their year of school today. Two more grades, two more years, settled into memories. Bittersweet passages. And for me, it's a kick in the pants to finally come up with more summer activities to shield against the boredom-induced bickering. Check back for more kids activities soon!
Friends popped in for a brief visit and we enjoyed the treats pictured here. Soon, I will post a recipe---- I thought they were quite scrumptious.
I finally finished my portion of the crafty swap I conducted with Melissa of Bridgeman Pottery.
Her pottery sits happily upon the windowsill above my sink, prompting a smile each time I see them.
I also finished a table runner for our perfectly red kitchen table. Embroidery for me?! Such a fun novelty---one I should enjoy more.
And lastly, I have a big giveaway this weekend! Please drop by and enter!
