This might be my new favorite dishcloth pattern! (Also on Ravelry). It's an easy stitch repeat to memorize and the pattern looks very striking once it's knitted up. But even more importantly, the knitted fabric works great as a dishcloth----it's nubby enough for scrubbing and the fabric holds its shape well. I'm in the process of working up another colorway, too---same colors but alternating their placement.
A couple things about the pattern: the pattern calls for a 45 stitch cast-on but I only cast on 35 stitches and I like the size it creates. Also, be sure to take up your new color from beneath the old when switching colors at the end of the row----it makes for a better edging. No worries about stranding with this pattern----you work one color at a time with strategic slip stitches resulting in a Mosaic fabric....

Other typepad bloggers might understand my gripe but I'm about to drop-kick my typepad service. For example, if you find that you cannot pull up my site or you notice one of my blog posts all lop-sided and strange looking please understand that typepad is going through some changes. I have always appreciated typepad's service and therefore I'm trying to ride out these hurricane sized waves of their new interface introduction and I'm hoping you will find this patience, too... Though, I must admit my own seasickness pills are beginning to wear off a bit...
